Adamu trained as an Engineer and has acquired years of experience in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Nuclear Technologies, and Computer Networking. He pursed his passion for Computer communication by enrolling in Cisco Networking Class where he excelled and went ahead to train as an Instructor. He subsequently worked for two years with Dialogue Computer Institute in Kaduna training students. His trainees have secured jobs at Microsoft, Dangote, and Bua Cement as Network Administrators. He then worked as a Research Fellow at the Center for Energy Research and Training. His most current work stint before joining RED Universal was with Nigeria’s National Oil Company as a Process Engineer. Since 2017, he has also been consulting for small-scale companies installing Solar and Battery Storage in homes and offices.
Adamu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He obtained a Distinction in his Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering Degree from Kingston University, London.
Adamu is member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
